There are 3 basic Fee Schedules, one of which is set by the government (Medicare).

The basic fee schedule is for the most part what is set as usual, customary, and reasonable by Blue Cross/Blue Shield, whether or not you have insurance.

For those that wish to save about 20%, they may do so by paying when services are rendered - otherwise known as Time of Service.
